HISTORY
January 2, 2012, will mark our 27th year in business and a long journey from January 2, 1985 in becoming the area's largest and most complete home and garden center.
Much has changed since beginning from scratch, fresh out of college and recently married in 1985, but much remains the same.
Kim Stewart and her management team work diligently to provide the same "hands on" service and personal touch for every customer's visit. Many of the staff have been with Stewart's over a decade and still consider it their daily mission to make Stewart's Garden Center, the best it can possibly be.
Our customers, quickly become our friends, and many are seen as family. How often is that kind of longevity, integrity and plain old fashioned caring seen in today's market place. You will know you are special and taken care of each visit.
To serve our customers and our community we offer seminars, workshops and sponsor field trips to teach our children a love and appreciation of home and garden. We also sponsor and maintain community green spaces, along with many varied sponsorships in community organizations, from a national level to local level. We believe "you will get as good as you give" and giving, whether of time or revenue is our duty.
As well as serving the gardening needs of our customers, we are also proud to say that local, state federal government agencies, as well as park authorities, golf courses, schools and commercial properties rely on Stewart's Garden Center's horticultural expertise and quality plant material.
We at Stewart's realize that it is our customer that we owe our 25 years of success to and we give our heartfelt thanks to you for your patronage.
